Meet Ghost Edits
Hi, I'm Tatianna
the photographer behind Ghost Edits. I'm a Puerto Rican from New York, now based in Rincón, and I shoot family portraits, couples sessions, proposals, engagements, birthdays, anniversaries, and family reunions all along Puerto Rico's west coast: Aguadilla, Aguada, Rincón, and Isabela.
One of the first questions people ask me is "where should we take our photos?" So here's my honest answer, town by town. These are the spots I actually shoot at, what makes each one worth it, and when to go.
And since it comes up: my wife and I are a lesbian couple, so yes, Ghost Edits is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly. Every family and every couple is welcome here.
Best Photo Spots in Aguadilla
Punta Borinquen
This is my top pick in Aguadilla, because you get several backdrops in one session. You can split your time between the beach and the cliffs. The beach has clean, wide-open sand and a lush stretch of palm trees right behind it, so it feels like jungle and coast at the same time.
On the other side of the beach are the old lighthouse ruins, one of the most iconic spots in Aguadilla. The beach on that side also has a better sunset view at certain times of year. If you want a mix of beach, cliffs, palms, and history, this is the spot.
Best for: families, couples, proposals, and anyone who wants variety in their gallery.
Crash Boat Beach
Crash Boat is famous for a reason: bright, clear water and plenty of color. It's also one of the most popular beaches on the west coast. If you want to shoot here, my recommendation is a weekday morning, when it's calmer and you won't be working around crowds.
Best for: families with kids and couples who want that classic Caribbean water.
Peña Blanca
Another great Aguadilla option if you want something with a more natural, tucked-away feel than the bigger beaches.
Best for: couples and small families.
Sunset shoot + dinner at Villa Montaña
This is one of my favorite ideas for couples. Book dinner at Eclipse, the restaurant at Villa Montaña, and do a sunset couples session right before. You get golden-hour photos, then you go straight into a nice dinner. It's an easy way to turn an anniversary or a proposal into a whole evening.
Best for: anniversaries, proposals, engagement sessions, and date nights.
Best Photo Spots in Aguada
The beach in front of your rental
I'll be honest: in Aguada, I don't have one go-to beach. Most of my Aguada sessions happen right on the beach in front of the family's Airbnb or vacation rental, and that works really well.
You don't have to load everyone into a car, the little ones can nap until the last minute, and grandparents don't have to walk far. You walk out the door and we start. If you're staying in Aguada, send me your rental's location and I'll let you know what time of day will look best there.
Best for: family reunions, multigenerational families, and families with young kids.
Best Photo Spots in Rincón
Rincón is home, so I have a lot of favorites. (If you want even more detail, read my full guide to family photos in Rincón.)
Domes Beach and Camino del Faro
My personal favorite. Domes Beach and the walk down Camino del Faro give you a lot of really scenic backdrops in a short distance, and it's rarely as busy as some of the other beaches in town. That means more room to move and fewer strangers in the background.
Best for: couples, proposals, and families who want a relaxed, uncrowded session.
Tres Palmas Marine Reserve / Steps Beach
A beautiful stretch of protected coastline with that classic Rincón feel.
Best for: families and couples.
Parking Lots Beach (in front of Casa Isleña)
An easy, beautiful beach to meet at, especially if you're staying nearby.
Best for: families and small groups.
Sandy Beach and Pools Beach
Two more Rincón beaches I really like for sessions, each with its own look.
Best for: families, couples, and sunset sessions.

Best Photo Spots in Isabela
Playa Pastillo
This is where I like to meet in Isabela. It's an iconic beach with wide, open sand and really blue water, so you get that bright, clean look with plenty of space for big groups.
Best for: families, family reunions, and couples.
Royal Isabela
If you're staying at Royal Isabela, its cliff views are one of the most iconic places on the west coast for a proposal or a couples session. One heads-up: it's a dressy place, so plan to dress up for the occasion.
Best for: proposals, engagements, and anniversaries.
